We are a private Swimming Lesson provider offering Swimming Teaching and Coaching in the Newcastle, Wallsend & Whitley Bay areas. We offers swimming lessons for all ages from baby lessons, Toddler Swimming, Aged 4+, Learn to Swim(using ASA NPTS), Adult Lessons and Competitive Swimming Coaching.
SwimNE aims to deliver high quality fun swimming lessons.
Started in 2006 at Kenton School Pool SwimNE has grown to teach a large number of swimmers each week. Whilst numbers have grown the personal service offered to parents and swimmers has not changed and we are committed to giving the best possible teaching environment so that teachers and swimmers can enjoy their time in the water.
At SwimNE we believe in fun swimming lessons. If you don’t have fun, you will lose interest and long term you will be lost to swimming.
Phillip Groom and his sister Jill Groom started SwimNE in 2006. As ex-competitive swimmers we got so much enjoyment and satisfaction in swimming and we hope to pass on our experiences to everyone we teach (young and old) so they too can enjoy swimming, whether competitively or socially both are equally important.
